Making A Reservation

Q1: How can I reserve a room?

A1: The booking process is really simple. You just have to enter the city you would like to visit as well as the check-in and check-out dates. After you have selected these two features you have to enter the number of guests and if you have children with you their respective age. Click the Search button and only the available hotels (those which have vacancies) will be displayed.
You will be returned with a list of all available hotels for the period, accompanied with a recommended room matching your search requirements. When you click on the Details & Book button you will be lead to the Hotel Overview page where you can see the available hotel features as well as other vacant rooms from which you can choose. After you have selected your desired room type you will be taken to a Secure Reservation request form. You will be required to fill the Guest Information section entering correctly your name and e-mail address. When finalizing Step 1 you will be taken to another page where you have to enter your Credit card details and Billing address. We strongly suggest you to read the Terms and Conditions provided at the bottom of the page and the cancellation policy in the previous page. After you fill out all of the required information press the Book Reservation button. You will receive a Confirmation letter to your e-mail within 24 hours.

Q2: Is it secure to use my credit card?

A2: Yes, it is absolutely safe. We at Uk-Stay.net take this matter very seriously that is why we have utilized a secure commerce server which encrypts the credit card details and transfer them in a non-usable form.

Q3: My credit card is not accepted but the number is correct. Why?

A3: The reasons might be the following:
Your card type is not compatible with the hotel policy
Your credit card validity expires before the reservation date
Your credit limit has been reached
There is a technical error

Q4: What about the rate is it per person or per night?

A4: All rates are per room for your entire stay. Taxes and fees are not included unless specified otherwise.

Confirming A Reservation

Q7: What is next when I am done with the reservation?

A7: You will receive a Booking number, which should be kept in order to be used with any further correspondence with Uk-Stay.net. You may also receive a confirmation number to your e-mail.

Q8: How can I see the status of my reservation?

A8: Following the View/Cancel Reservation link you can see your reservation and make changes to it. For faster service please submit your Booking number which you will receive after you have done your booking. If you have any additional inquiries do not hesitate to contact our team of professionals by filling the contact form.

Q9: What can I do in case I do not have the opportunity to wait long for the confirmation?

A9: Your confirmation should be ready within few seconds. You will be contacted by e-mail in order to be notified of the status of your reservation. This will take no more than 2 to 4 hours. However, delays might occur sometimes. In these cases you will receive an e-mail without confirmation number. When we receive it, it will be immediately send to you. Q10: Do I have to receive a written confirmation from the hotel?

A10: No. The e-mail confirmation sent from Uk-Stay.net is all you will need. You will receive your booking number, confirmation number, the price of your stay, information about the hotel and its cancellation policy.

Q12: Does the room rate include breakfast?

Q14: Can I benefit from any special discount (as a senior citizen, an airline employee etc)?

A14: No, because we offer the lowest possible rates and discounts are already included in the price.

Q15: Do you accept discount vouchers, issued by the press, some shops etc?

Credit Cards and Payments

Q16: Why do you require credit card information?

A16: The details about your credit card which we receive from you are sent directly to the hotel you have chosen. This has nothing to do with the cost of your stay, which you will pay when you arrive at the hotel. The information will be used only if you do not cancel your reservation on time, or you do no show up at all ? in most hotels you will be charged for just one night.

Q17: Do I have to pay any deposit?

A17: No, unless it is clearly stated in the overview page of the selected hotel. Please note that some hotels may perform a validity check on your credit card.

Q18: What types of credit cards do you accept?

A18: Generally, most hotels work with MasterCard, Visa and American Express. To make sure your credit card will be accepted, view the "Hotel Policies" section at the bottom of the overview page - "Accepted Credit Cards".

Q19: Is it possible to pay in advance?

A19: Yes, in most cases. Please use the contact details about your hotel, which are included in the confirmation letter, and get in touch with it directly.

Q20: Is it possible to use one card to guarantee the reservation and another one to pay for my visit?

A20: Yes, once you have arrived at the hotel you can use the method of payment of your choice.

Q21: Do I need to own a credit card to make a reservation?

A21: Yes, all hotels require credit card information as a guarantee.

Q22:Can I trust www.uk-stay.net about my personal information? Are the transactions secure?

A22: Yes. The "Secure Socket Layer" technology and the firewall are the most sophisticated way of encrypting your credit card data and protecting it against unauthorized access.

Q23: How do I know that I have made a successful reservation?

A23: You will see it on-screen the moment you have completed the four reservation steps. Then you will receive a confirmation email (within minutes), which will give you more details about the chosen hotel.

A28: No, hotels have different requirements about the time of check-in and check-out. To get details, have a look at the "Hotel Policies" box; if you may well arrive late in the evening, we advise you to inform the hotel (whether directly or using the "Remarks" field in the reservation form).
